I get asked this question a lot:
“Mark, What’s the best way to learn Russian grammar?”
The answer is simple. You should be learning the patterns behind all Russian grammar. Period. Do that and you’ll be light-years ahead of everybody who still struggles with it. Watch this video to see how it works.
If you are just getting started with Russian check out my free audio course. Even if you have experience, please start with Episode 1 as everything you’ll be learning is cumulative.
Check it out here: –> Free Russian audio course? Heck ya!

Hi Mark. I just came across your Russian lessons. for which I am very happy.
Now one question about the Russian Grammar Made Easy Through Patterns-film above. Kniga becomes knigu, and kola becomes kolu. I thought that foreign words do not change (metro, cafe etc…) isn’t kola a foreign word or is it an exception?
Thank you in advance,
Kind regards,
Karin
And of course thank you very much for these lessons!

Hi Mark,
I just wanted to thank you. I am using your podcase meanwhile for 6 weeks and am able to fluently follow your lessons. I couldn’t find something comparable in internet in German (I am from Germany). So for me it is a bit difficult because I have to listen in english but learn russian. However. Your system is that great, that I have no trouble to follow. Really unique.
Thank you for those lessons. You’re a great man. 🙂
Kind Regards,
Murat
Do you have your mnemonics for Russian in a pdf file? Your example of “Not for all the TEA in CHIna” was excellent.
Hi Waldo,
Thanks for writing. Glad you liked that PowerPhrase (mnemonic) (Tean in CHina).
I don’t have them isolated in any kind of document, though. I simply give them as they come,
both in the podcast and in my online, Russian Accelerator course.
Thanks for asking, and let me know how you do in the podcast’s final exam.
Hi
I wanna learn Russian.
You came to the right place!
